In the second message in our series entitled ‘Unmasking the Gospel’, we look at ‘Glory Unmasked’. We contrast the glory of the old covenant under the law against the new covenant of grace in Christ Jesus; the former, though glorious, faded, compared with the new one, which is eternal. The old was veiled, the new is not, and believers likewise should reflect that glory with unveiled faces in the dark world in which we live.

As we continue to look at the early Church through the Book of Acts, in our Sermon Series 'Simple Acts of Revival, we come to a situation where the Apostles are confronted with a bias in the distribution of food to the widows. In view of the situation the Apostles see the issue requires some re-organising and through verses 1-7 of chapter 6, we see how this was achieved.
In this message we look at the steps the Apostles took to re-organise the fair distribution of food and consider how we can learn from their experience.

This message is taken from Psalm 119 and in particular verse 173, it is entitled 'Whose Hand?'.
As individuals, there are times when we require and request the intervention of a third party to assist us and give us help; whether in simple terms or more complex ones. Such a request is not uncommon - it is one human being reaching out to another human being. How much greater though, if that request is made to God.
‘Whose Hand?’ is the third message in our May 2020 sermon series - ‘Come What May’. It explores the powerful prayers and declarations as found in Psalm 119:169-176.

The Bible contains numerous accounts of individuals, groups of people and a whole Nation going on a journey, each of which identifies the who, when and where they occurred; they the also reveal their nature and character as they respond to specific incidents and challenges they encounter, in doing so we see the revelation of God and how their specific journey comes to a close.
The Emmaus Road journey is no different and as you listen to this message, you will understand the importance of the Old Testament and why it is so crucial for all Christians to read them as well, of course, the New Testament.
‘Emmaus Road’ is the third instalment of our April 2020 sermon series - ‘Cross Roads’.

Heart Surgeon is the final message in our ‘Matters of the Heart’ series. It is through the work of heaven’s surgical team, Father Son and Holy Spirit, that our hearts are truly changed. In Psalm 51, King David’s prayer contains the words ‘Create in me a clean heart, O God,’ - let that also be our cry.
This message entitled ‘Unto us’ - from Isaiah 9:6 - takes us to the focal point of December’s ‘Christmas Convergence’ series - the first coming of Jesus, the Son of God, Immanuel (God with us). It takes us onto the hillside with the shepherds when an angel of the Lord amazingly announced the birth of our Saviour, who is Christ the Lord (Luke 2:8-20).
As we continue to Remember in November, this message not only reminds us of the ultimate sacrifice so many have made in the many wars fought for our freedom, but it also reminds us of Christ’s death on the cross. As He took His last breath, He said ‘It is finished!’, and thus eternal victory over sin and death was achieved for us all.
In the final message of the Recycled series you will hear, through the life of Job, that God is Sovereign - no matter what is happening in life He is in control. All we need to do on our part is to trust Him, praise Him and remain faithful even when we do not understand what is going on.
In our new series ‘Recycled’, this third message continues on the theme of God recycling lives and situations to fulfill His Sovereign plans. In this episode we examine the Apostle Paul, a man who dramatically changed from being merely ‘religious’ to being a ‘revivalist’ after meeting the risen Jesus, as recorded in the Book of Acts chapter 9. Formerly known as Saul, he was a zealot for the cause destroying the early Christian church, but he soon found out that he would be recycled by God in order to pioneer it.
Using scripture and testimony, this message entitled I Am Blessed - part of the ‘This is Me’ series - reminds us that, no matter what we are facing in our lives, as children of God, we are blessed. We are blessed because of all that Jesus has done.
Colossians 1: 13-14 states ‘For He [God] has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.’
This message entitled ‘I am Redeemed’ forms part of the current sermon series - ‘This is me’ - exploring our identity in Christ. This message looks to identify every aspect of what it means to be redeemed because of the great price that Jesus paid to rescue us from sin and to give us eternal life in Him.
When we hear the expression 'I am a Child Of God’ - what thoughts or images spring to mind. It is far more than just having a childlike faith. This message in our current series - ‘This Is Me’ - highlights and explores some of the many, many blessings and benefits that come from our Father in heaven when we become a ‘Child of God’ as stated in John 1:12.
Who is stealing your heart? Have you found yourself being distracted or prevented from going all out in your relationship with God and all that He has for you? In today’s sermon you will hear who is behind it and how it is done, but more importantly the things you can do to guard against it.
In Haggai's day the people had neglected the building of God's house, the temple, in favour of their own homes; as a consequence, God withdrew His blessing from them. Haggai challenged the people to consider their ways and the word he brings from God sees work resume on the temple. In this message we look at four things that, whilst addressed to the people of Israel, can apply to us today as we seek to build God's house.
This sermon, delivered in two parts, tracks the stories of two very diverse groups of people who both sought the King that very first Christmas. Learn how we can be inspired by the example of the magi and the shepherds.
The peace of God calms our concerns even in the midst of severe trial. This sermon shows how to nurture and protect the fruit of peace when our peace is under attack. It also looks at the next trait of the Spirit in our series: patience. Learn how to remain steadfast and keep a godly perspective in a world filled with pressures and irritations.
The world has enough critics; what we need is more encouragers - people with a "you can do it" approach for others. The best encouragers know how to stay encouraged in the Lord themselves; this sermon unpacks how to do just that and also how to be a person who cheers others on in life and faith.
If you want to be fruitful in the Christian walk then there is only one way to do so: abiding in Jesus. This message points people to Jesus, the source of fruitfulness. Discover how to live the kind of life that He desires and to be effective as a Christian.
There are books and there are books and then there is 'The Book', namely the Bible. Nothing can compare to the Word of God - it has no equal and is vital to the life of every Christian, from the youngest believer to the oldest. The Bible is the best instruction manual you will ever need here on earth. This sermon gives a brief overview of the Bible and explores why it is so important for us to engage with it.
